Since starting this blog, I've had quite a few new followers, so I thought I'd do a lifestyle post today! Plus, who doesn't love seeing pets?? Today, I'd like you all to meet my bengal cats named Tonka (right) and Kobe (left)!

First, a little about the breed. Bengal cats are a cross between an Asian leopard cat and a domesticated cat. They are super intelligent and can pick up on commands and tricks really fast! They are also very active and require a lot of attention. Once they bond with you, though, you really become one of the pack! This breed isn't for your average pet owner, though, so do your research on them before you get your own! Our bengals just turned 4 years old at the beginning of May, and they have gotten quite large compared to how little they were as kittens! They are my sweet little babies.

First, let's introduce Tonka, aka Big Boy. Tonka is built just like his dad and is a very large cat. He also has fur that is fluffier in texture than his brother, and a lighter coat complexion. Tonka is a daddy's boy, but he also snuggles with me every night before bed. He's also notorious for trying to steal his brother's food, so I always have an eye on him during dinner! He loves to chatter with us, and sometimes it's almost like we have full conversations back and forth because of how talkative he is! He is the biggest sweetheart.

Here he is out for a walk.

And here is his close up! He has beautiful green eyes.

And here is Kobe, aka Koob! Kobe is smaller and slinkier than Tonka, and his fur is also a short, plush texture and darker that his brother's. He takes after his little mom! He is also the sassiest cat you will ever meet. When he demands attention, he better get it or he will bother you until you drop everything and pet him. Kobe is a mommy's boy, and I like to say that he is a little obsessed with me. If I am every sitting with Ethan, he will try his hardest to take all of my attention so that he is my only focus. It's pretty cute though! He also has quite the voice. His normal meows sound like kitten sounds, but he can also howl at an impressive volume when he is complaining about something! Here he is judging me, which is a pretty common occurrence!

And here are his pretty green eyes!

Here is a photo of me holding them for size reference!

If you can't tell, I am crazy about these two. I will leave you with this adorable short video I made for their 4th birthday. It doesn't do their big personalities justice, but it definitely gives a glimpse into life with bengals! Enjoy!!
