I was blessed with fine textured Scandinavian hair (just a little sarcasm there!) so not every hair product works well with my hair. On top of that, I also dye my hair blonde, which makes it even more fragile. I feel like any type of heat styling risks damaging my hair and making the ends turn into split end city. So because of this, I have curated a few products that I've found to work really well to keep my hair soft, hydrated, and protected from the heat.
My hair care routine consists of 4 products: 2 used before blow drying and 2 used after I'm finished drying it. I feel like the timing of using these products helps to really add protection from heat damage.

First Product: It's a 10 Miracle Leave-In Potion Plus Keratin
I use this right after I towel dry my hair but before I blow dry. This is like a leave-in conditioner, and it helps my hair to stay hydrated and smooth while adding some thermal protection. I only use about a dime sized dollop, and all I do is evenly comb it through my ends.
Second Product: Paul Mitchell Forever Blonde Dramatic Repair Serum
I also apply this one before I use my blow dryer! I love this serum because it is made for blonde treated hair, and it adds protection from heat to keep my hair smooth and damage free. I evenly spritz this all over the ends of my damp hair, and then I'm ready to blow dry!
Third Product: Dry Bar Hot Toddy Heat Protectant Mist
Once my hair is dry, but before I use any hot tools, I use this mist. It is super light weight, which is great for fine hair because it doesn't weigh my hair down. This is a great product because it protects hair up to 450 degrees F, and it also helps to smooth down fly-aways while styling. Once I evenly mist it over my hair and comb it through, I'm ready to style!
Fourth Product: Not Your Mother's Beach Bade Texturizing Dry Shampoo
Once I'm done with using hot tools, I like to finish my hair off with a little dry shampoo. This helps to give my hair volume and keep it fresh all day long. This one is my favorite dry shampoo to use because not only does it smell amazing, but it also doesn't leave white powdery residue on my roots like some dry shampoos do. Its also pretty affordable and available on Amazon (score!).
I've made a little video where I explain all of these products as well, so check it out!
