Fashion Fix: Outfits of the Day

Wow, how is it already the start of another week? It is so easy to get caught in a rut right now, but I feel like one of the best ways to feel better is to put on a cute outfit, even if you have no where to go. The temperatures outside are warming up, and the sun is shining a little longer everyday, and now if the perfect time to invest in a couple fashion staples like a bright skirt and white jeans. Today, I'm going to show you how I've styled these two piece, and link to some of my favorite stores!

Fashion Staple #1: A Bold Skirt

I don't know about you, but I am obsessed with warm color palettes right now. I see them all over Instagram, and they just feel so fun and a bit vintage! I bought this orange corduroy skirt on sale from one of my favorite online boutiques, and I've been having fun pairing it with a few pieces to make a great spring/summer outfit with it!

I stuck with a more neutral cream colored camisole top with some little orange and navy stripes in it so that the skirt was the main pop of color for this outfit. I also added a dark brown belt with some gold grommets on it so I could tie in a double layered gold necklace and my Coach sandals that also have gold accents. Gold accessories are also super in right now, which I am happy about because my engagement ring is gold too <3

I also added a beige/mustard colored long cardigan to this look, since it's still spring and can be a bit chilly outside right now. I love the way this looks and how it really ties everything together.

Fashion Staple #2: White Denim Jeans

On a spring day, you cannot go wrong with a pair of bright white jeans. They are so easy to pair with an outfit too, because what doesn't go with white, right? In my search for the perfect white jean, I finally found it with this pair from J. Crew. Most white jeans that I have tried have been really thin material, which isn't very forgiving, but this pair is a thicker stretch denim, which is so comfortable and flattering! These are also high-waisted, which is so trendy right now. I also got these jeans on sale, so I just couldn't resist them! I've paired these jeans with a cute blush colored cami from Magnolia Boutique and some faux snakeskin boots from Nordstrom.

I am also obsessed with snakeskin print right now, and I see snakeskin boots everywhere, so naturally I had to jump on that train! I love these because they have a chunky heel and a pointed toe, and they are super comfortable!

For accessories, I stuck with rose gold colors to go with the blush top. I love this Bolo style necklace that Ethan's mom got me for Christmas; it has beautiful Swarovski crystals at the ends of the chain. I also added a sparkly rose gold belt to tie everything it.
